Cassandra is an Australian who has lived and experienced Morocco for the past 15 years – and loves it! She arrived in Marrakech after several years of living abroad in NYC and Chicago where she worked as a restaurant consultant.

Marrakech opened new horizons for Cassandra. Designing her own successful kaftan range (KasBek) with a fellow Australian, writing and styling for Elle Décor Group and Maison Francaise plus creating her own interior decorating business. Her love for design and interiors blossomed in Marrakech where she could see how the purity of the designs used in everyday Moroccan life could be adapted globally.

There are certain pieces – carpets, textiles and furnishings - from Morocco that Cassandra cannot live without and will form part of her life where ever she goes.

Cassandra works closely at ground level with a close friend, and work colleague, who has been traveling around Morocco for years sourcing the best quality carpets and mats. Together they secure unique and original pieces – it comes from a deep knowledge of the products and trusted sources.

This relationship and knowledge enables Kulchi to source specific pieces that can be customized and sized to suit any design requirement.
